Taba, Israel-Egypt Border
Taba is a small town located in the northern parts of Egypt and is bordered by three countries. The nearest boundary is the state of Israel that extends from the territory of Israel to Eilat to Taba. Taba is also bordered by Jordan, who was in the Gulf of Aqaba and the far boundary is the country of Saudi Arabia.
Historically, Taba in Egypt is one area that often became seizure of Israel. A very strategic position at the end of the estuary of the red sea, making the Taba Israel has always been a shooting. Taba first fell into the hands of Egypt in 1949 by a truce.
When the Suez crisis heats up in the Sinai in 1956, Taba fell into the hands of Israel and one year after returning to Egypt's lap again. However, Israel managed to occupy the Sinai after the Six-Day War in 1967 and Taba fall again into the hands of Israel.
Taba between Egypt, Israel struggles continued when in 1979 Yom Kippur war. The seizing territory Taba between Egypt and Israel, makes an international commission to intervene, in 1988 the commission decided to support Egypt as the holder of power of Taba and Israel agree on that decision in 1989.
